Wise Legacy wills drafting

Use this tool for

Simple wills for a single client or a client with a partner, including executors, guardians and pet guardians; cash gifts; the residue to a partner, children or named people; substitutes; a right to reside; superannuation directions; overseas will wording; and signing for a blind will-maker or by mark.

Use your usual process for

Testamentary trusts, charitable trusts, options to buy shares, Advance Health Directives, and anything flagged "Outside this template" under For your attention.

What it does

Drafts Wise Legacy simple wills, for a single client or a client with a partner, from the client's details, using your own template wording. Where the client was silent, the middle panel asks the legal question and shows your default as an assumption; you confirm it or choose another outcome, and it becomes an instruction for that client. The tool then chooses your wording. Every clause shows where it comes from. Anything that needs your judgement appears under "For your attention".

How it keeps client information safe

What's included

How it was tested

Ten of your own wills (with every name and detail changed) were rebuilt by the tool and compared clause by clause. Of the clauses your template covers, 94% came out word for word. Every other difference has a known reason: wording from an older version of your template, a clause that isn't in the template yet, or a choice for you to make. A further over 7,000 combinations of client circumstances were checked automatically, with no errors.

What we propose

We build the next piece the same way: one workflow at a time, tested against your own documents before you use it. Possible next steps are the testamentary trust wills, the Advance Health Directive, or connecting the tool to Cleo and your team's workflows. We'll scope each one with you before starting.

Not yet included: planned for later rounds

Step 1: import the matter exported from Cleo, then complete what Cleo doesn't hold.

The firm's settings, built into the tool: the wording used where your template offers two forms, fixed values, the firm's own details, and the overseas wording for each outcome. They apply to every will, and never change who gets what. The legal questions for a client are answered in the Instructions panel on the Draft a will page.

Changes here apply to this session only, for trying things out. To change a setting for the whole firm, contact Perth AI Consulting.
